I just wanted to say hello and thank you to you all for creating this extraordinary opportunity for me to work with my friends again and give us a chance to keep these timeless characters afloat. This would not have been possible without you.

I am sure you will forgive my absense from this board. Last time I tried to post was shortly after the news that season 5 would not be going ahead. Try as I might, the post would not go through.

From: chickwithgunLet me just say that the weird rumour from this weekend passed sent me through a whirlwind of emotions. Reading some of your posts tonight did the same.
I am so sorry that you may have thought for even a second that I was dead. I know what it's like to get bad news. I am flattered that there are loving thoughful strangers on the other side of the world who were concerned or would be if had actually died. I am also flattered that you all think I was robbed of an award.
But this is Ben's time to shine, let's not allow our potential joy for him to be tainted. He is too humble, too modest. Without him, there is no Farscape. It is about time that people in the broader community recognised what an asset he is to the show and what a talented man he is in his own right.
So don't you worry about me, you lovely , lovely ones!! Not only am I alive and kicking Crichton, (arf, arf) but with supportive fans like you I don't need awards to feel I'm doing good. You guys make me feel that I'm doin just fine.
And be careful how you judge the winner of this years award. Alcoholism is a disease. It's not a lifestyle choice. I am pleased that she has, by the sound of things, sought help. She will now, I am sure tread a difficult path that requires courage as well as support from others. So I say, yay! and congratulations to her (and the other winners) . This business is not an easy one. We artists are a delicate lot . And we're only human.

I just remembered that we go to air tonight on sci-fi and thought the occasion was post-worthy.
I appologise for the wait; I had nothing to do with it, of course, but I know what it's like having to count the days 'till things get kicking (arf, arf)
Speaking of which,Sydney has been taken over by World cup fever with fans already running amok. Good old mob mentality. why can't they all be civilised like us and post on the net about it instead of dancing around on parked strangers' cars and beating on drums blocking traffic?
a-chem. looks like my time living in London was not time enough in which to develop an appreciation for that white and black ball. The crew were in shock the other day after the American team's win against Portugal. They are all petrified that there will be too many more wins and that Ben will not let any one live it down. The only yank on set is gunning for a good result.
But now we have a kick-off time of our own- for S4 and the motley crew.
some great stuff on the way including another ep written by Ben. David Kemper had me laughing the other day when he told me how much he's going to drive you all crazy with his amazing block of eps to finish off season four. We are over half way through filming and yet it felt strange to be already discussing how the season will end. I just hope DK doesn't 'reward' me again with death by drowning chained to a chair.
Lots of people involved with the show behind the scenes are expecting or have recently had babies. Exciting times for them. If I ever decided to have a child I think my training for it would stem from the show; the lack of sleep, the necessity for constant enthusiasm and energy, something to which one is bound which carries great responsibility. It takes about the length of a pregnancy to shoot one season too.
So in a way, I have given birth already to four babies. We all as a team have. Thank you for treating our children with such care. You guys are the best sitters in the galaxy :)
There is no doubt that we are making this show for all of you.
Thank you for your intelligent debates, constructive criticisms and generous support. I have not yet met a farscape fan whom I didn't warm to. As you embark on this new season please know that we think of you all often, with gratitude, and work damn hard not only for the personal satisfaction it brings but also for a group of people who have placed these characters in their hearts.You.

Please accept my appologies for not making an appearance here on my birthday.
I returned home after escaping new york to find that i had been robbed for the fourth time this year. My computer was stolen in the robbery and I only just bought a new computer last night.
I wanted to get to the BB straight away and acknowledge the warm and charming birthday messages you all left for me.I have moved house to a safer area and am enjoying my time off. It is a rare and great experience to go to bed at night without having to do homework or set an alarm. Preparations for season four are under way. The energy in sydney is very positive despite recent world events and i am really looking forward to a great summer here.... mangos, the beach, daylight savings and the open air cinema.
One positive thing i have taken with me since September 11th is an overwhelming gratitude for the life i have led so far and for my extraordinary friends and family who make me sparkle and help me to emanate warmth. I am happy to be alive.
and proud to be associated with you all.

Firstly, thank you for a successful and very enjoyable convention tour.
Secondly we would like to send out our best wishes to everyone in New York. We walked into town and lit a candle on the steps of a closed church last night. What else is there to do but try and give blood and pray for everyone.
We are here in town until the planes start running and are being taken care of by a large and caring group of collegues from the Henson Group. So lucky to have members of our work family with us at this time.
As much as I have wondered how Aeryn would be dealing with this the very human me has been a little teary, a lot scared and very grateful to be alive.
Ben has plying me with chocolate and has firmly established himself as a real life hero.

We are nearing the end of the shooting schedule for Farscape Season Three. I look forward to seeing you all in a short while at the conventions. My main reason for dropping a line to you all today is to alert your attention to the episode Green Eyed Monster which will air next Friday. I am sure you know already that it was written by Ben Browder,directed by Tony Tilse. Killer combination.
I believe it is one of the best episodes of the season.
Congratulations Ben.
This ep is proof for those who until now ,could only suspect that some actors contribute to the success of a show by doing more than just 'standing on their marks and getting their lines out in the right order'.David Kemper would have paid me good money to say just once on set...'Who wrote this *^%# ?' , but I couldn't. It was too good.

I am going up to the Gold Coast to film an episode of Beastmaster.My reason for doing it? It gives me an opportunity to work with an old friend who likes to trash hotel rooms in his spare time almost as much as I do.

We are all suffering from post Olympic syndrome after a surprisingly exciting fortnight of sport and entertainment.I am officially very proud to be an aussie (aussie aussie, oi,oi,oi!!!) My reason for posting today is to let you know that I have been cast to play Vampire Pandora in the sequel to Interview With a Vampire. For those of you who have read Anne Rice's books,be prepared for some filmic licence and adaptation, if you know what I mean.While being losely called the sequel,The Queen of the Damned is not the book which directly follows interview and will not star Tom Cruise nor Brad Pitt. I do not post this bit of news to boast, rather to recognize the enormous support I have received from you all on the BB and thank you for it as I feel You have instilled me with a confidence which has pushed me forward. For those of you who out of loyalty went to support Pitch Black I can at least promise this time that although Pandora is a small support role, she will not be knocked off early! Hi there everybody! Well as you know, we've just completed another season of farscape. In the episodes to come I can promise you action a la Tony Tilse as you've never seen on this show and romance that'll make the non-shippers warm and gooey. I didn't get a chance to thank everyone at Comic-Con. So let me start by saying that it is an absolute pleasure to be here in America to promote a show that no longer needs any introduction. We owe a lot of our success to you all. There is a record number of posts/replies on this site considering the show's brief time on air.
I am typing this from a computer in the USA Networks building. It's great to finally put some faces to names: many people around the globe envolved in putting it to air.
I haven't had an opportunity to get on line and read many of the posts but I hope you all enjoyed "A Human Reaction" as much as we enjoyed making it. We will be going into repeats soon but make sure you hang in there....the final episodes of season one are well worth the wait.
Thanks to the team here, we will be expanding this site to offer you more information about the show and hopefully some behind the scenes stuff too. I am including a picture that I took from the stage of the panel at Comic-Con... hope some of you recognize yourselves...
