Emerging from a wormhole into the middle of a pitched space battle, the farscape is taken on board Moya, a huge bio-mechanoid 'living ship' Crichton meets his new shipmates, all desperately trying to escape the clutches of the Peacekeepers -Ka D'Argo, the fierce Luxan warrior; Rygel XVI, sluglike Dominar of the Hynerian Empire; and Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan, the serene Delvian priestess. And sharing his cell is fellow prisoner Aeryn Sun, a captured peacekeeping officer.
