Australian Claudia Black is a classically trained jazz musician and actress who has taken Shakespearean influences into the outer realms. "Shakespeare canvassed so many archetypes, you can find an element of his famous characters in every job you take," says the twentysomething Black, who plays a humanoid peacekeeper in the Sci-Fi Channel’s Farscape The show "is original in that there are three females in an ensemble playing very strong roles" says the single actress. "Physically, this has been the most arduous job I’ve ever done. But when I work in an ensemble, the team can push me along," she says. "I suffer from perfectionism and laziness simultaneously. It’s an absolute curse!"
