INDEX OF PROGRAMMES
Each Guide contains a Transmission Guide, a Complete Episode Guide, Cast List, Screenshots, Theme Tune, Notes, and details about whether episodes are available on DVD and Video.
The Transmission Guide lists every episode of the TV programme broadcast in the UK on terrestrial television to date. Some of the guides only list the most recent showing. The guides take the format:
Date Season Episode Title
where Date is the transmission date (ddmmyy), Season is the season number the episode is from (S1=season 1, S2=season 2 etc., P1= pilot episode part 1, P2= pilot episode part 2, P= pilot episode, P*= feature-length pilot episode), and Episode Title is the title of the episode.
A '*' indicates that the episode is feature-length, usually twice the length of one episode. A '(R)' indicates a repeat transmission already listed in the guide. The episodes are listed in order of transmission.
The number of episodes listed per season do not include the pilot episode unless otherwise indicated. There may be some discrepancy in the numbers due to certain episodes going out in two parts or as one feature-length episode. The viewing figures for programmes are usually the original network showing of the episode i.e. when all the regional stations transmitted it at the same time. The ITV region used is the CENTRAL region, which is now part of CARLTON.
Wherever possible, the title of the episode is taken from the on-screen title and not from the TV guide magazines, because sometimes the title printed is often incorrect.
If the listing contains every episode broadcast on terrestrial television to date, variational ITV regions excepted, it will be indicated by:
*** This is a complete list of all the episodes ever broadcast on UK Terrestrial TV to date ***
The Complete Episode Guide lists all the episodes ever made for that particular TV programme.
